A friend challenged me to write a blog post about my favorite things (and yes, I stole the title from her). So here goes!
A friend challenged me to write a blog post about my favorite things (and yes, I stole the title from her). So here goes!
What is your favorite book?
I have read so many that I can't possibly pick a favorite. Right now, I'm reading "The Core" about the classical approach to homeschooling, and it is giving me all kinds of great ideas for next year.
What is your favorite song?
"Amazing Grace" followed closely by Laura Story's "Blessings"
What is your favorite color?
From the look of my wardrobe, I would have to say blue. All shades. :)
What is your favorite destination?
Home. I love traveling, but can't beat coming home.
What is your favorite memory? The births of my children. All of them.
What is your favorite TV show? Nothing that is currently on. I love reruns of The Waltons.
What is your favorite movie? Several - The Sound of Music is somewhere at the top, though.
What is your favorite food? Any kind of pasta. I can, and do, eat cold spaghetti happily.
What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
What is your favorite treat? Oreo cookies. And it bugs me that they made their packaging smaller and left the price the same. But that is another topic.
What is your favorite car?
Anything that runs safely, has good AC in the hot South Carolina summers, and holds my family.
What is your favorite piece of clothing? Jeans and a comfy shirt.
What is your favorite fashion accessory? A sling or woven wrap to carry my infant son!
What is your favorite leisure activity? Writing, reading, sewing.
Who is your favorite author? Fiction - Karen Kingsbury and Francine Rivers. Non-fiction - too many to choose from.
Who is your favorite singer? Michael Card. I LOVE how he uses words in his songs and how deeply theological they are, yet still light.
Who is your role model? There are several women who I would like to be like in some way when I grow up, but mostly I want to be the woman God made me to be.
Where is your favorite place to be? At home with my family.
