Yea, it's summer! (Cue that song that Olaf sings in Frozen!)
It has felt like summer for weeks here in South Carolina, with temperatures in the 90s, neighborhood pools open since early May, and the summer baseball season halfway over already.
One of the challenges every summer is staying cool! Clothes-wise for me, that means lots of light-colored cotton and flowy skirts, fabrics that let the breeze through and keep the heat out, and still maintain my personal standard of modesty.
Hair-wise, that means styles that keep my hair off my neck but also don't take any time to do, because our summer schedule right now means we hit the ground running for Vacation Bible School, camp, and play dates. One of my go-to styles is a drop bun, and I put together a tutorial for anyone who wants to try it out.
