I have not been writing here as much of late, mostly because of both family responsibilities and because of my regular writing commitments at the Pregnancy After Loss Support Blog and the Columbia SC Moms Blog. But the new year beckons, and with it my desire to pour out my heart in words on a page, even it is is a digital one.
And like many of my fellow bloggers, I am starting 2016 by looking back on 2015. While in some ways this could be seen as patting myself on the back, it is really a look into your hearts. What resonated with you last year? What mattered? What did you find touching or encouraging or helpful? Because although I write, first, for my audience of One, I also write to serve you, the ones who have been drawn to this welcome mat in the Internet universe.
Here, then, for both my information and yours, were my Top Ten (well, nine) posts of 2015.
20 things that babyloss parents do that feel crazy but aren't
What apraxia really is
A prayer for my son with apraxia
Dear mom of a baby in Heaven

What do these tell me about you, my readers? That whatever "tribe" you are from - babyloss parents, apraxia parents, homeschooling parents, or simply followers of Jesus willing to buck the trends of this world - you are not alone. Look at the numbers who just found their way here, to my little blog! And you are strong, and have a strong voice in this world. And you are drawn to a place where you can connect with others for encouragement on the journey this side of Heaven.
I am honored that you choose this piece of the Internet as a place to hang out from time to time and will be sharing some things in the near future about what to expect on this blog and how we can connect as a community in 2016.
Blessed New Year!
