Deepening our faith
These posts are all about growing in our relationship with God, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Proverbs 31:30 says, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Everything that we do and are pales in comparison to our relationship with our Creator.
One of the most challenging parts of my adult journey of faith began on March 9, 2009, when my unborn daughter Naomi died in my nineteenth week of pregnancy. Nothing challenged my faith like the struggle of trying to understand how my good, loving, and powerful Heavenly Father could allow such an awful, unchangeable tragedy to happen to me - and how He allows it at all. The answers I found, ultimately, came from His eternal Word - that He is good, that He is sovereign, and that He can be trusted. I share much of that journey here, and my most popular "babyloss" articles can be found on this page.
But my faith, and I, am more than just that part of my journey. Other posts in this topic are about handling the Word of God with integrity, and how the Bible has real answers for the 21st century. If this way of looking at life is new to you, please contact me! I would love to talk with you more about what it means to walk with God.
